Raoul Wallenberg was a young Swedish businessman who, in 1944, voluntarily left the safety of his neutral homeland for war-torn Hungary, where he saved the lives of more than 100,000 men, women and children.
In 1945, he was abducted and incarcerated by the Soviet secret police. His fate remains a mystery.
